CRES has been involved in The Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope for Heart) for over 20 years.  We have been one of the top 3 fundraisers in the state for the past few years and hope to be again this year!  Collecting donations is optional for each student and it is up to the students and parents to decide their level of involvement.  Awards and prizes will be given to those that participate in the fundraising.   We hope to have some kind of celebration when the fundraising is over to recognize everyone's efforts and bring an end to the campaign until next year.

Please utilize the website and/or the app to collect your donations.  We urge you to use the app to take a picture of the checks that you collect so they will be automatically deposited.  We no longer collect cash or checks as using the automated methods eliminates the need for your child to bring in a paper check and it minimizes the chances of a check being misplaced or donation amounts being questioned.

When CRES students raise money for this cause, the school earns gift certificates to U.S. Games. Each year, a large portion of new equipment for the school is obtained using gift certificates that were earned through the Kids Heart Challenge campaign.

The donation envelope that your child brings home will have all of the information that you need to register, collect donations, and earn prizes.  You should also download the app (search Kids Heart Challenge in the app store) and register at heart.org/khc.  There are many, many activities, games, and resources online.
